The skin of Sagrantino grapes are extremely rich in polyphenolic substances with complex aromatic properties (these are also antioxidants). When distilled they produce a refined Grappa with a subtle and lingering bouquet. It is crystal clear with bright reflections and pleasantly soft with a characteristic aftertaste of dried fruit and chocolate.
